ALLERGENS AND FOOD SENSITIVITY
The Food Allergen Labeling and Consumer Protection Act of 2004 (FALCPA) identifies milk, egg, fish (e.g. bass, cod, flounder), Crustacean shellfish (e.g. crab, lobster, shrimp), tree nuts (e.g. almonds, pecans, walnuts), wheat, peanuts and soybeans as food allergens.
To provide our customers with tools they can use to identify FALCPA allergens in our daily menu items, alphabetical listings of menu items for the following allergens are provided:
1) All FALCPA allergens
2) Milk
3) Egg
4) Peanut
5) Tree Nut
6) Fish
7) Shellfish – None on our menu at this time
8) Soy
9) Wheat
Please note:
· Elementary menu items do not include condiments in the analysis
· Secondary menu items are noted as “SEC” and do include condiments in the analysis
· Victress Bower’s menu items are noted as “VB” and include both condiments and any liquids used to modify texture in the analysis
· Menu items that are prepared in the food centers are marked “FC” and do not include condiments in the analysis.
